Born James Anthony Patrick Carr on 15 September 1972 in London to Irish parents, Carr studied political science at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, before pursuing comedy. Today, Carr is not only a celebrated comedian but also a family man with partner Karoline Copping and their two-year-old son.
